(MAY 15, 2020) Many people have gardens. They grow fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers. Some plants like cool weather. Other plants need warm sunshine.
What can you plant in your garden in May? It depends where you live. Different parts of Oregon have different weather.
Annual plants are fun. An annual plant lasts only one summer. They do not survive the winter. But they are pretty. They add color.
Perennial plants save money. They return every year. They last a long time.
Is the weather cool? Then you can still plant cabbage and broccoli.
Is the weather warm? Then you can start to plant things like tomato, eggplant, squash, and melon.
