Who gives a $5,000 tip?

(FEBRUARY 1, 2020) Who gives a $5,000 tip?

San Felipe Taqueria is a restaurant. It is in Southeast Portland. A man visits the restaurant last week.

He orders one beer. The beer costs $5. The man uses a credit card. He adds a $5,000 tip.

A tip is extra money for the server.

"I'm pretty sure it's a mistake," says the restaurant owner.

He wants to find the customer. However, he does not know how. He tells his story on the internet. He hopes the man will come back to the restaurant.

The man returns to the restaurant one week later. The tip is a mistake. The restaurant gives the money back to the man.
