Pendleton Police now use body cameras

(JANUARY 25, 2020) Pendleton is a city in northeastern Oregon.

The city has 24 police officers.

Now the police officers also have body cameras.

The cameras are on the officer's chest. Officers tap the camera to start it. Then the camera records what happens.

Only 3 cities in Oregon use body cameras.

The cameras cost $62,000.
