(JANUARY 3, 2020) Portland has a new police chief. Jami Resch began the job on Tuesday. She replaced Danielle Outlaw.
Resch became a police officer in 1999. Now she receives $215,000 a year.
Outlaw moved to Philadelphia. Now she is its police commissioner.
Portland police began in 1870.
