Are new power lines in Eastern Oregon dangerous?

(NOVEMBER 15, 2019) A power company wants to build a power line in Eastern Oregon. The power line will be 300 miles long. The line will go through northeast Oregon.

But two groups do not like the idea. They went to court. They asked a judge to stop the construction.

The power company changed its plans, they say. The power lines will be too close to homes in La Grande. They say the power lines are too dangerous.
