When do leaves change color in Oregon?
(SEPTEMBER 19, 2019) Autumn begins September 23. Many people like autumn. They enjoy cool weather. They also enjoy colorful leaves.
When is the most color? It depends. Temperatures are important. Rain is important, too. Every year is a little different.
What about 2019? One map says:
- Portland: October 5
- Oregon Coast and Northern Oregon: October 12
- Central and Eastern Oregon: October 19-26
