(SEPTEMBER 19, 2019) Do you like airplanes? Then you will like the Oregon International Air Show. You can see many different kinds of airplanes. Many will do tricks in the air.
Past shows have featured stunt pilots, aerial acrobatic teams and pilots who flew missions in combat as far back as World War II. The stars of the show this year are the Royal Air Force Red Arrows.
The air show is September 20-22. It is usually at the Hillsboro Airport. However, there is runway construction in Hillsboro now. So the show will be at the McMinnville Municipal Airport.
The Oregon International Air Show has been Oregon's largest aviation event since 1988. An average of 65,000 people attend the event each year.
