Origami artists visit Oregon

(AUGUST 17, 2019) Origami is a craft from Japan. Artists fold paper. They make shapes. Sometimes they make animals. Sometimes they make flowers.

Many origami artists will visit Portland. There is a convention in September. A convention is a big meeting. There will be an art exhibit. There will also be many classes.

Yuki Martin teaches origami in Portland. She likes to talk about the art. She says it is not only for children or women. It is for everyone.

Maybe origami is not easy, but it is beautiful.
