The College operates in many different environments using a wide range of equipment and provides a safe and healthy environment, using reasonable risk assessment for its students, staff, and visitors. We ensure that all students are suitably inducted and trained by competent staff in safe working practices to required skill levels.
Everyone has an important part in creating and promoting a healthy College, by having respect and value for their own safety and everyone around them.
The College’s Health and Safety Policy can be accessed from the Student Portal as well as the Health and Safety pages on the College website. Please ensure you observe all health and safety requirements as part of your studies.
There are first aid trained personnel and a first aid room is always available at the College. A list of trained first aid staff is on display on notice boards on each floor. Remember to report any accidents, no matter how small to a member of College staff.
