9th Grade

9th Grade 2018-2019 class will be Inshallah an amazing experience for every student. We will continue I love Arabic 2 book and we will move the I love Arabic 3. Our daily classes are fun, interactive, and learning oriented. I understand that every child has different strengths and weaknesses in their learning process. Therefore I am committed to having differentiated instruction in my class with a variety of opportunities for my students’ to achieve their goals. Nevertheless, learning a language involves Cooperation, constant work, and higher order thinking skills. I will request your support at home in order to reach our goal this year.

Our Curriculum ecompasses the following skills:

Interpersonal communication: Students can participate in conversations on a number of familiar topics using simple sentences. I can handle short social interactions in everyday situations by asking and answering simple questions.

Presentational speaking:Students can present information on most familiar topics using a series of simple sentences.

Presentational writing:Students can write briefly about most familiar topics and present information using a series of simple sentences.

Interpretive listening:Students can understand the main idea in short, simple messages and presentations on familiar topics. They can understand the main idea of simple conversations that I overhear.

Interpretive reading: Students can understand the main idea of short and simple texts when the topic is familiar.

Vocabulary :Students learn vocabulary related to introducing themselves express their feelings, family members, describe a place, plan for future, family and house, habits and customs.
