Trainings and Professional Development
COMING SOON! STATEWIDE REQUIRED TRAINING OF ALL LEAS AND SCHOOLS SERVING PASA ELIGIBLE STUDENTS
Beginning in the 2023-2024 school year, intermediate units will begin to provide statewide, required training, "Building Capacity and Promoting Instruction through PASA DLM". Schools with PASA eligible students are required to participate. Stay tuned for more information from your local intermediate unit about dates and participant requirements.
PASA DLM Data Management Training Modules
* Mandatory for PASA ACs
PASA Data Management training must be completed by at least one PASA AC at each location. Two training options are available:
Data Management Training Comprehensive Course - Full Training: appropriate for new ACs or those not comfortable working in Educator Portal. It provides a thorough description of each step in managing data
Data Management Training Refresher Course - Abbreviated Training: appropriate for experienced ACs. It covers PA-specific reminders as well as new features in Educator Portal.

Dynamic Learning Maps: Professional Development Modules and Packages
Dynamic Learning Maps, in collaboration with the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, has developed free, online professional development packages and individual training modules. All trainings are available in two formats - a facilitated group format and online, self-directed. Many professional development modules and packages are available. Several are included here. Getting to Know PASA DLM Modules for Assessment Coordinators and Assessors
The "Getting to Know DLM" training series were presented in 2020-2021. These series are appropriate if new to DLM. Choose the appropriate series based upon your role - Assessment Coordinator or Teacher. They are not intended to replace Required Test Administrator Training.
