COMING SOON! STATEWIDE REQUIRED TRAINING OF ALL LEAS AND SCHOOLS SERVING PASA ELIGIBLE STUDENTS
Beginning in the 2023-2024 school year, intermediate units will begin to provide statewide, required training, "Building Capacity and Promoting Instruction through PASA DLM". Schools with PASA eligible students are required to participate. Stay tuned for more information from your local intermediate unit about dates and participant requirements.

PASA DLM Communications for Assessment Coordinators
The PASA DLM state team routinely communicates with PASA Assessment Coordinators (ACs) using email. ACs will see communications in their inbox from Alternate Assessment via alternateassessment@pattankop.net. All communications are also posted to the hub.

PASA DLM - ATLAS Event Recruitment
DLM is a consortium of 22 states. DLM is facilitated by Accessible Teaching, Learning, and Assessment Systems or ATLAS at the University of Kansas. DLM needs Pennsylvania special education teachers and content specialists to support ongoing instructional studies and assessment development activities. Pennsylvania invites YOU to participate in these events. Events include item reviews, item writing, standards setting and much, much more! Join fellow educators from the other 21 states in these activities which may be on site or virtual. View the recruitment flyer to learn more including how to sign up.

New Password Requirements for Kite Educator Portal
For the 2023-2024 school year, new security measures required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) for creating passwords will be implemented. Returning Kite Educator Portal users must click on “Forgot Password” and change it to meet specifications. New and returning users must create a password that meets the following requirements:
Must be at least 12 characters in length.
Must use three of following four character sets: upper-case letters, lower-case letters, numbers and symbols.
Cannot be among the last 24 passwords user created.
