Welcome to our class

Congratulations! Your child has qualified for Gifted Services in either math, ELA, or both. Our educational goal is to continue to challenge your child to grow at least one year’s growth in his or her identified area or areas. To accomplish this goal, I will prepare activities that will help the student in each grade group to master content standards that are beyond those that would be presented within the regular classroom. Normally, these lessons would be presented in pull-out sessions at school. Since right now students are only in class 2 days a week or totally online, there will be times that your child will log into a zoom session, watch assigned videos, or complete activities that will allow time to practice, review, and master the next content standard. These activities will be found in his or her Gifted Google Classroom for elementary students. For middle school and high school students, I will be collaborating with the classroom teacher to work on projects. Middle school and high school students may email me or schedule to come to me during a revision time to get support with projects. I am looking for a great year together working with your student and helping them to reach their full potential.
