Patrick Henry High School has the largest Engineering program in our district! We serve over 550 students and offer 10 total classes in 3 pathways (Architectural Design, Engineering Technologies & Information and Communication Technologies).

The majority of our classes provide Honors or AP credit. Our classes are project-based and include  opportunities for work-based learning, including guest speakers, field trips, and mentorships. We house a number of clubs and an award winning FIRST Robotics team. Most of our students go on to pursue 4 year degrees in Engineering or STEM fields.

We are excited to announce that we are streamlining recruitment efforts across all seven College, Career & Technical Education (CCTE) pathways! Students are accepted on a first come, first served basis until spaces are filled. No prior experience is necessary.

• Find out more about our pathways using the PHHS CCTE Pathway Presentation and the PHHS Counseling Department's Course Sequences & Class Offerings chart.

• If you are interested in a pathway:

  • • (1) Circle the CCTE icon at the top of your articulation card.

    • (2) Rank your 1st and 2nd choice pathways on your articulation card.

    • (3) Complete the 2026 Pathway Commitment Form to save your spot!

• If you are not coming from Lewis or Pershing, please complete step 3 now, then steps 1 and 2 when you enroll at PHHS (enrollment forms will be available in our front office this spring).

Please note that our application process provides priority enrollment for classes, but does not supersede school enrollment limitations. Students coming from out of the school boundaries must still apply for PHHS via the SDUSD choice lottery process.
