Welcome! Patrick Henry High School has the largest Engineering program in our district! We serve almost 600 students and offer 8 classes in 3 pathways (Engineering Design, Architecture & Computer Science). The majority of our classes provide Honors or AP credit. Our classes are project-based and include opportunities for work-based learning, including guest speakers, field trips, and mentorships. We house a number of clubs (including Society of Women Engineers, Architecture & Construction Engineers (ACE) Mentor Program, and an award winning FIRST Robotics team). Most of our students go on to pursue 4 year degrees in Engineering or STEM fields.
Students are accepted on a first come, first served basis until spaces are filled. No prior experience is necessary!
Check out our Information Sheet for more details about our classes and pathways.
Our application is currently closed. Please check back in Fall 2025 for our application for incoming 9th graders for 2025-26.
Please note that our application guarantees space in our Engineering pathway, but does not supersede school enrollment limitations. Students coming from out of the school boundaries must have applied for PHHS via the SDUSD choice lottery process.
