About PASYT Performing Arts Camp

The Phillipsburg Area Summer Youth Theatre is a non-profit organization committed to educating children in the performing arts. The PASYT Performing Arts Camp is for children 7-14 years old who have an interest in performing arts. Using a child's natural gift of imagination, this program will focus on their creativity and improving their communication skills and self-confidence. While creating the magic of theater, the children also learn the value of teamwork.

2018 Camp Shows

Disney's Mary Poppins, JR - June 18 - July 6, Performance Day July 7

The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren't the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that "Anything can happen if you let it."

Into the Woods JR - July 9 - July 26, Performance Day July 28

Into the Woods JR. features all of your favorite characters – Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (and his beanstalk) and the Witch in this lyrically rich retelling of classic Brothers Grimm fables. The musical centers on a baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk.
