MINI BUSINESS PLAN - AP STUDENT REQUIREMENT

Write a two to three page business plan for an imaginary business you create inspired by the book. For example if one were to brainstorm a business inspired by The Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller, one might write a plan for a business that sells magazine subscriptions or maybe even a fanatical (fantasy) business that sells friendship. Please include in your mini business plan the following information:

• • Business Name (Who? Which character runs the business, if any?)

  • Business Description (What is your business? Give a breakdown of it's functions.)

  • Grand Opening Date (When? Pick a scene from the book, why is this a good time to open?)

  • Location of Business (Where is this business in the world of the book you've read?)

  • Business Purpose (Why should this business exist? What need does it fill?)

  • Products or Services (What does your business sell? Are your products/services expensive?)

  • Analysis (How does this business idea fit with the overall themes of the book you've read?)
