Dear Bearcat Students, Parents, Families, and Community,

First, I want to acknowledge the patience, understanding, and kindness displayed by our Bearcat family as we adjust to the temporary closure of PRHS. We will be posting all updates and information for Paso Robles High School at All district updates will be posted at

The current plan based on the recommendation from the County Office of Education includes faculty and staff working next week (March 23-27) on distance learning opportunities for our students for the following week (March 30-April 2nd). I know the delay can be frustrating and challenging. I want to reassure both students and families that we are working diligently to address the impact these events will have on your education to the best of our abilities. In the meantime, the district has provided Voluntary Enrichment Activities for Grades 6-12 at

While the circumstances we find ourselves in are challenging and unprecedented, I am looking forward to showing the world what we as a community can do to continue to serve our students' needs while we practice social responsibility to help end this crisis. I encourage you to follow the recommendation of federal, state, and county health organization.

I have the utmost faith that when we look back on these tough times the faculty, staff, students, and community will be able to say we made the most of challenging circumstances and are stronger Bearcats as a result.
