On this page are instructions for staff and students who have the Password Recovery option in ClassLink. ClassLink allows staff to set up either a Mobile number or Challenge Questions. Students 5th-12th will only have the Password Recovery with Challenge Questions option.
The first time staff or students (5th-12th) log into ClassLink, they will be prompted to set up their recovery method. This is where students will set up security questions and staff will have the option to enable mobile phone recovery method.

Log into ClassLink Portal with your PISD Username and Password
Select the Set Up Recovery option
The Recovery options will say "Disabled" until they have been set up. Click the Questions box to open the option screen. Students will select three prompts from pre-determined options or custom ones they create. They will enter their responses in the fields to the left.
Responses can be viewed and/or changed at any time. Reveal the responses by clicking the "reveal" icon to the right.
In addition to the Question Recovery Method described above, Staff will have a choice of entering answers to security questions or by using a mobile phone verification.
If you choose Mobile Phone as your recovery option, you will enter your phone number and then the verification code, once it is received.
You may change your phone number at any time and repeat the verification process.
You DO NOT need to Reset your Password at this time!
Don't let the "Reset Password" button confuse you! When the Recover methods are complete, "Enabled" will be displayed under one or both options.
Just close the Profile Settings window using the X at the top right.
Sign into ClassLink and select the dropdown arrow next to your profile icon in the top right
Click "Settings"
Click "Recovery" in the menu
Select the options to change. Notice that once an option has been set up, it will say "Enabled"
Reset the password with "Reset Password"
Any time you have forgotten your password, you may retrieve it from the ClassLink log in page. This will only be available if the Recovery options have been set up.
Click "Help, I forgot my password"
Enter your username in the next page
Select your method of retrieval and follow the prompts

Enter username
Select Questions (5th-12th) or Mobile (staff only)
