You must be at least 15 years old
You must be willing to commit to your traineeship (work and study) at least 1 day per week (or as directed by your employer)
You must have a good work ethic
You must explore this option during subject selection in year 10
This option counts as a subject towards your NESA course requirements

Once you have found an employer, an Australian Apprenticeship Support Network provider will need to do the sign up. They will talk to the employer, school, and if you are under 18 to your parent or caregiver.
