Mrs. Hughes-Luna's Schedule

Choir

The Choir course teaches note-naming, solfege, note and rest values, and the elements of music leading to singing/performing music.  By rehearsing, taking notes, viewing videos, and reading, students will develop their music knowledge. Discussing music of the past and present, while using the elements of music, will help PJHS students sing as a group, in small ensembles, and individually to build confidence, develop vocal technique, and share their music knowledge. PJHS Choir will perform at Winter Concert, the Parlier Showcase, and Spring Concert, so save the dates as no other school events should conflict.
