Robert (Bob) Ransbottom

Class of 1961

B.S. in Education from Taylor University, M.A. in Administration from Ball State, Certifications from Wright State-Lake Campus and University of Dayton. 

He is a retired administrator, teacher and coach and currently works part-time at Lee’s Ace Hardware in Customer Service.

Mr. Ransbottom was nominated “Citizen of the Year” in 1995 by the Rockford Chamber of Commerce, serves as president of the Rockford Tree Commission since 2001, assists the Chamber with the town Christmas decorations for the past 20 years, served as treasurer of the Chamber of Commerce for 4 years, was an officer of the original Leota Braun Charitable Organization and served 8 years on the Parkway Local School Board – Vice President for 4 of the 8 years. He is also active in his church serving as a youth leader, usher, Sunday school teacher and on the Church Board.
