At Central Middle, we're passionate about providing theatrical opportunities that transform students into empowered artists capable of working with a team toward a common goal.
The PCMS Theater Department offers four classes during the school day. There's also two opportunities for students to participate in our after-school program: the Fall Play and the Spring Musical!

My name is Ally Butler (She/Her) and I'm the theater teacher here at Central Middle! Some quick facts about me:
I went to Mehlville High School, and graduated from SIUE with my degree in Theater Education in 2022.
I have been teaching for theater for five years, and this is my third year teaching at PCMS!
My current favorite musical is Come From Away, and my least favorite is Cats.
I'm a big St. Louis City and life-long Blues fan.
Most Embarrasing Theater Mishap: When I knocked over an entire tray of goblets and said "ope, sorry" in front of an audience while it was completely silent onstage. The show was a very dramatic Shakespearean tragedy. 🤦🏻♀️
