Google Drawings- usable by all students

Google Drawings is an application available within our GSuite for Edu domain. You can find it in your Google Drive by clicking on the "new" button and hover over "more." Create drawings, diagrams and designs that can be collaborated on in real time as well as inserting an image that can be edited and annotated.

Google Slides- usable by all students

Google Slides is an application available within our GSuite for Edu domain. You can find it in your Google Drive by clicking on the "new" button. Although Slides is traditionally thought of for creating presentations, it can also be used to create a poster, flyer, brochure, etc. by changing the page orientation. Slides gives you a lot more flexibility in designing your page than Google Docs.

To change the page orientation in Slides, go to File<Page Setup<Custom<8.5 x 11 in< Apply

Adobe Spark

Adobe Spark Post is a user friendly platform for making graphic designs in minutes. Pick a photo, add text, and apply design filters or animations to instantly create a poster, flyer, ad, etc.

Step-by-step directions

Children under the age of 13 should be directly supervised by a parent, guardian or teacher.

Canva for Education

Create beautiful designs and documents using provided free media or copyright friendly media that you import. Free media available in the form of photos, graphics, backgrounds and videos. Canva for Education gives you access to the Pro account features for free.

Teacher Note: Be sure to create an account at Canva using your Parkway email address before applying for the Canva for Education account. After creating the account you will have to apply for an Edu account.
