Create audio files (MP3) to be used in other applications
Audio Voice Recorder Pro is a free voice and audio recording webapp. Install the Extension for quick access to the site. Record or capture your voice and play it when you are done.
Just click record and pause when you are done. Choose which file format you want to download (currently there are 2 file format's available mp3 and wav). Choose mp3 if you plan to use the audio file in another application. This extension is already on the Parkway whitelist of approved apps and extensions.
Please email the Parkway Help Desk for directions to create student accounts. Accounts should only be created for students who will definitely be using WeVideo. Do not create accounts for your students "just in case" they use it as there are a limited number of accounts available.
WeVideo allows you to record, edit and export an audio file as an .mp3. Your exported audio file could then be used in other applications that allow for audio import.
Vocaroo is a website that allows you to make a voice recording without creating an account. Simply make your recording then when you are satisfied with your recording you can save it as an MP3. You must download the file if you wish for the recording to be available for longer than just a couple of months. Vocaroo also assigns a unique URL, QRcode and embed code for you to use as well.
Citizen DJ is open to the public and all sounds are free-to-use for remixing needs. Make music using the free-to-use audio and video materials from the Library of Congress. Explore collections, remix and combine right in your browser and download and use sounds with your preferred software.
Talk and Comment is a Chrome extension that allows users to provide voice comments. This is a great way to provide feedback to students. This extension is already on the Parkway whitelist of approved apps and extensions.
