When you click the download button you will see the clear rules about using the music. Freesound.org is a collaborative repository of CC licensed audio samples, and non-profit organisation, with more than 230,000 sounds and effects, and 4 million registered users. Sounds are uploaded to the website by its users, and cover a wide range of subjects, from field recordings to synthesised sounds. Account required to download. Age restrictions were not found in the Terms of service.

The interface is not real user friendly in that you need to pay attention when you do the search to be sure you are still on this site and you weren't sent to another site that may not be free music. BBC Sound Effects (Beta)
The BBC have opened up their archive of over 16,000 sound effects, which you can now download in WAV format free of charge.These 16,000 BBC Sound Effects are made available by the BBC in WAV format to download for use under the terms of the RemArc Licence. The Sound Effects are BBC copyright, but they may be used for personal, educational or research purposes, as detailed in the license.
