• Optional test generally taken junior or senior year (or after completion of Algebra 2) and used for admission to some colleges/universities.

• Fee-based exam:

  • $69.00

  • Fee waivers available for free/reduced lunch students. Talk to Ms. Meyer. Maximum of 4 fee waivers per student.

  • Print and bring your admissions ticket and photo ID to the test site.

  • If a student is eligible for accommodations, the student must request these during the registration process. See ACT accommodation info HERE. For assistance, please call 319.337.1332 to speak to ACT.

PRACTICE ACT

In addition to the ACT, Parkway School District also will be providing a Practice ACT on the following dates at school:

• Class of 2027 and Class of 2028:  March 11, 2025

These exams DO NOT get sent to colleges, but let's us gauge how college ready a student is.

• Cost: $20

• The 2024 PSAT/NMSQT Student Guide contains a description of the test, sample questions, and other useful information regarding the National Merit scholarship competition for juniors.

• August 19, 2024 - PSAT Registration Opens (in IC)

• August 28, 2024 – IEP/504 accommodation requests sent to Ms. Meyer via email (If you completed them previously you do NOT have to complete one again.)

• September 20, 2024 – Registration  / Payment Deadline

• October 23, 2024 – Test date @ PNH
