Setting My Notifications

Schoology sends you notifications when actions occur that involve you. These notifications are be for courses and groups you are a member of rather than your child's courses or groups. You can select which notifications you would like to receive and how to receive them. Your child can set their notification preferences within their own account.

1. Click on your name in the upper right hand corner

2. Click on Settings

3. Select the Notification tab

4. Select which notification you would like turned on/off

5. Notice that you can all get notification via text message using the blue box in the upper right hand corner of the notifications settings page
