DOCUMENTS TO ENTER NAMIBIA
The documents you require to enter Namibia are the following:
Valid Passport:
Each learner going on the trip needs a valid passport which has to be valid for 6 MONTHS following our departure date from Namibia (22nd February 2025). It is also required that there is at least one unused page in the passport, allowing for any necessary stamps upon arrival and departure.
Children under 18 travelling across the border:
If a learner is under the age of EIGHTEEN on 19th February 2025 when we leave South Africa, parents will need to supply the school with an unabridged birth certificate in order for your child to leave the country. Mrs Steyn is able to certify copies at the College if a copy is supplied with the original document.
You can apply at your preferred Department of Home Affairs branch or a South African embassy, mission or consulate. We have linked the "application for birth certificate form" that you need to complete to this site.
In addition to the certified copy of the Unabridged birth certificate we also require:
Letter of Proof of consent from both of the child’s parents or legal guardians - Parent Consent Affidavit (can be stamped by the school)
Copies of the Identity Documents or passports of the parents or legal guardians;
