Farm to School @ PCSD#6

Join us in supporting our local economy.

Join us as we celebrate lunch trays filled with healthy, local ingredients. Here are a few easy ways to get involved:

Sign Up for Lunch: We feature produce from Shoshone River Farms. The oats featured atop our blueberry crisp come from Gluten Free Oats in Powell. Our hotdogs, hamburgers and ground beef (tacos, nachos, sloppy joes) are made by Wyoming Legacy Meats.

Be Inspired: Check out the video, watch our Facebook page, tune into the local radio or read the Cody Enterprise to hear and see inspiring examples of farm to school success and innovation happening right here.

Get Involved: Donate to help the PCSD#6 School Nutrition Department fund local food purchases by sending a check to Park6-f2s, 919 Cody Ave., Cody, WY 82414

Local Beef

We buy an average of 150# of locally raised and locally processed grass fed beef a week from Wyoming Legacy Meats. You will be enjoying this partnership when you eat our beef tacos, nachos, sloppy joes, hot dogs, chili dogs and 1/4 pound hamburgers.

Local Produce

We use an average of 25# of locally grown onions every week. This is a great relationship with Shoshone River Farm as these onions would otherwise not have a market as they vary in size or may have been a result of an over production.

Local Value Added Products

We have used a variety of products from Gluten Free Oats located in Powell, WY. This company started as a HS FFA project. Currently we are featuring their oats atop our crisps.
