• Director of EconomiX, a CNRS research unit at the university Paris Nanterre

• Lecturer, University Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and university Paris Nanterre

• I also work as an expert for the European Commission, OECD and French national and regional institutions (ANR, ANRT, France Stratégie, CGET, Bpifrance, etc.) 

• Co-responsible of the joint research program CIRED, CNRS-ENPC & EconomiX, CNRS-Université Paris Nanterre "Ville, Industrie et Transition Ecologique" with Gilles Crague. 

• Columnist at Alternatives Economiques

• Firms and markets: industrial organization, entrepreneurship, SMEs, business groups

• Industrial dynamics: ecological transition, industrial demography, firm growth, insolvency, financing (credit market, business angels),

• Regional analysis: agglomeration effects, shift-share, firm location

• Public policies: tax-rebates, local taxation, competitiveness clusters
