Currently for the Steel rover we have not had any official testing with the full rover. We just put on the seats of our rover, and so testing should be beginning soon. However, we have been testing many parts to this point. For example, as we built parts of our rover we have tested them. This year, our drivetrain has been the focus of our testing and repairing process. Other than the steel rover the entire team has had a lot of testing which includes seat prototyping, as well as so many diffrent wheel prototyping and tests throughout the year. This year we also made a wooden rover, so we had a lengthy testing process for wood, and it just recently rolled, and was driven for the first time.
But we are very excited to test the steel rover, and test it with the new wheels, and seats. When we will test it, we will find problems with certain systems, or most likely have things break. But we are prepared for this, as breaking things now is the best, so that we can learn what breaks under the stress of driving, as well as learn how to fix it when they happen. So, we will be constantly testing, and fixing what is needed until we load up our vans and trailers to embark to the competition.
