Candidacy Activity #3

One interesting challenge with the Die Project was that it had to be a 5 in cube. This was made difficult by the materials we had to use and how the all had different thicknesses. So some pieces had to be cut shorter to accommodate for the other sides so the die would come out to a perfect 5 in cube. Another challenge was deciding which sides would get which numbers. This might sound easy but each number is made differently so I planned to have the thicker sides cut by hand while the thinner sides I would engrave and cut with the laser. As far as time went for the project I was barely able to get the die built in time as there were a bunch of people that all had to use one laser cutter.
