Résumé/CV Samples
What is a resume or a CV?
A résumé or a CV for college application is a document that describes the student's educational background and work experience. The information should be dated in descending chronological order, which means the recent dates and activities should be listed first and the oldest should be listed last. This document allows the admissions team to know you more as an applicant through your involvement and achievements. This is a good place to highlight your skills, awards, and volunteer/work experiences. The resume/CV is usually one page long and should not be more than two pages long.
What format should I use for my résumé or CV?
The admissions team will not judge you based on the design of your document but it is important to put all the information appropriately and clearly.
Do not use more than two fonts and two colors.
Double-check the spelling, verb tenses, and grammatical mistakes.
Do not need to put your photo in the resume as we already have your photo uploaded in the application.
Do not copy directly from someone else's work. That is plaigarism and we do not allow that at Parami University.
