Kia ora whānau,
I am Mrs Arora ( Minky Arora) - Commerce Teacher
I began my teaching career in 2012 in India and moved to New Zealand in 2015. I joined Papakura High School in Term 2 of 2025, and feel proud to be part of this wonderful school community.
As a Commerce teacher, I am passionate about helping students see how their learning connects to the real world. I enjoy creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where my ākonga and I grow and learn together each day.
I truly love what I do and aim to make learning fun, relevant, and meaningful for all students.
I am a proud South Auckland boy, born and raised in Manurewa. I have been teaching for nine years and have a background in youth work and sports coaching. I am a father of four and enjoy keeping active through sports, cycling, and running.
I’m a huge hip-hop fan and enjoy debating 'GOATs' with fellow hip-hop heads. I also love to travel around Aotearoa and overseas, experiencing different cultures and environments.
Currently, I teach Level 2 and Level 3 Business Studies (including the Young Enterprise Scheme), the Run Club elective, and the Swim Safety project. I am also an Otuuwairoa Kaiārahi. In the past, I have also taught Legal Studies, Junior Literacy, and Junior Commerce.
