This 90 minute activity has been designed to ensure that pupils are able to:
be hands on at all times
be engaged in problem solving tasks
undertake experiments that reflect what science lessons will start to look like in Year 7
make links between their school work and a 'real life' situation

"The Case of the Missing Goldfish"
The theme of the activity is Forensic Science. Pupils will be presented with a scenario and throughout the event their experiments and breaking news will steer them towards a successful capture of the thief, and the safe return of the missing goldfish.
All pupils will be provided with a snack, a goodie bag and a participation certificate.
There is no cost for participating.
