Student Devices - Expectations for Use

The One to One (1:1) technology initiative of Pamlico County Schools provides a school-assigned technology device for each student in the district. Specifically, grades Kindergarten - 1st Grade will be assigned an Apple iPad (7th generation), while grades 2 - 12 will be assigned a laptop computer. Models currently in use in the district are HP ProBook x360 and Dell Latitude 3310. Both computers are Windows 10 PCs.

Before a student may be assigned a device, families are asked to review and sign the PCS Student Device Agreement. A copy of the Agreement and its terms may be found below. Additionally, the following is a list of expectations and guidelines pertaining to the student use of technology in Pamlico County Schools and the One to One technology initiative.
