Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) are integral parts of the CTE programs of Pamlico County Schools. Each CTE program area has a corresponding student organization that is designed to provide students an opportunity to develop their own potential for leadership and career success. Each CTSO allows students to participate in competitive events where they can showcase and apply the technical skills that they have learned in their classes. Students have the opportunity to serve in leadership positions and to gain skills necessary to be successful in future careers. Personal growth as well as community service are hallmarks of the various CTE student organizations.

National FFA Organization
FFA is a dynamic youth organization that changes lives and prepares members for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. Today, there are 850,823 FFA members, aged 12-21, in 8,995 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
FFA develops members’ potential and helps them discover their talent through hands-on experiences, which give members the tools to achieve real-world success.
Skills USA
SkillsUSA is the premier student leadership organization in the country with over 300,000 members nationwide. SkillsUSA-NC offers many activities to enrich our students, advisors, and professional members throughout the year. The activities include professional and leadership development conferences, competitions that measure both technical and employability skills, and opportunities for scholarships, employment, networking, and competitive skills.

FCCLA
Family, Career and Community Leaders (FCCLA) of America is a national organization for middle and high school students taking Family and Consumer Sciences classes. Members develop skills for life through character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career preparation.
National Technical Honor Society
The acknowledged leader in the recognition of outstanding student achievement in Career and Technical Education, NTHS encourages higher scholastic achievement, cultivates a desire for personal excellence, and helps top students find success in today's highly competitive workplace.
