This April 14–20, 2027, members of Palm Valley Church will have the opportunity to experience the beauty and heart of Albania—a country with an ancient history, welcoming culture, and great food. I’m Micah Crump, and I’ll be leading this trip.
Palm Valley Church has a long-standing partnership with missionaries Carlos and Reina Valladares and their ministry in this beautiful country. Carlos is a gifted, well-educated, and experienced cross-cultural minister. Over the past twelve years in Albania, he has planted churches, trained leaders, and impacted the country at a national level.
Carlos is passionate about reaching his community with the Gospel. The ministry includes weekly church services, small-group discipleship, and a children’s outreach and camps program for those in need.
Our goal is to come alongside this amazing ministry by helping with facility improvements at the main church campus, as well as partnering with the ongoing ministries that take place each week. The team does an amazing job using what they have, but we want to help make it even better!

TRIP OVERVIEW
TRIP OVERVIEW
We’ll fly into the capital city of Tirana, where Carlos and his team will meet us and host us throughout our stay. During this trip, we’ll work with both of Carlos’ churches—one on the outskirts of Tirana and the other in the beautiful coastal city of Durrës. Ministry will include evangelism and outreach alongside the local church, home visits, and church services.
We’ll also spend time working at the church campus in Tirana, helping with manual labor, painting, and updating the church facilities. You do not need construction knowledge or experience to be a part of this trip. All you need is a willingness to work and sweat for Jesus!
In addition to the work at the church campuses, we’ll have opportunities to experience the beauty of Albania—enjoying authentic food, visiting the historic Krujë Castle, and exploring local shops for souvenirs and cultural experiences. It’s going to be a meaningful week filled with ministry, adventure, and unforgettable memories!

In preparation for this trip, there will be several meetings you will be required to attend. During these meetings we will communicate valuable information, train, and debrief all things related to this trip. The team leader will contact you with the meeting dates.
