During this missions trip, you will partner with volunteers from the local church at their main campus, helping develop the recreational area for the preschool and early grades of Genesis Christian School. Currently, there’s only one small covered play space for the children. Your group will help build two new covered play areas next to the existing playground and prepare them for age-appropriate play and activities.
You’ll also have opportunities to serve and connect with the wonderful communities of Casa Club (a ministry for adults with special abilities) and the women’s rehab ministry. One evening, we’ll host a dinner for couples from the Genesis Couples Ministry to share testimonies and enjoy a time of fellowship and encouragement.
During your time in Costa Rica, you’ll stay at a private villa in Escazú, near Alajuelita. Throughout the trip, we’ll gather around the table to reflect on what you experience, see, and hear together. I’m excited to help lead this journey and am praying for discernment, deep connections, and friendships that reveal God’s Kingdom in powerful ways.
This amount includes all travel, lodging, meals, and sightseeing.

Our Costa Rica Couples Missions Trip will take place July 9–14, 2026, with a team of 11 married couples from Palm Valley Church. This special trip offers couples the opportunity to serve side by side, strengthen their relationships, and make a lasting impact in the Genesis Church community near San José.
The total cost is $1,800 per person, covering round-trip airfare, in-country housing, meals, transportation, and ministry materials. Participants will stay in a beautiful, large private villa, providing a comfortable and inviting space for rest, reflection, and connection. To join the team, please ensure your passport is valid through at least January 2027. This experience will be more than a mission trip—it will be a time of spiritual growth, shared purpose, and building meaningful friendships as we extend God’s love to others in Costa Rica.
