Mr. Vega Ortiz, has been school counselor for9 years in Palm Beach County. With 36 years of experience in education, he's dedicated his career to helping students from diverse backgrounds achieve their dreams of earning their high school diploma. His passion lies in guiding them through the challenges of adapting to a new culture, while nurturing their emotional, social, personal, and academic growth. Beyond his professional role, he finds inspiration in exploring the world through travel, embracing new cultures, and sharing the knowledge and talents that I believe are gifts from a higher power. His cherished moments are those spent with his family and his faithful companion, Thunder, his beloved dog. His favorite quote that resonates deeply with him is, "Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go" by T.S. Eliot.
