From her initial role in Afterschool, Ms. Beady's passion for helping students led her to join the school day as a Para, and she's now a valued Behavioral Intervention Associate. Her commitment to our students extends beyond the afterschool hours, and she's an indispensable part of our school community.
Ms. Beady's dedication is not limited to one role; she's a true team player. As our Activity Leader, she orchestrates fun and engaging activities for our students, creating memorable experiences. As the head of our Homework Club, Ms. Renee plays a pivotal role in ensuring that every student at our Afterschool program not only completes their assignments but also truly understands and applies what they've learned during the day.

Ms. Jennifer is the creative genius behind our Arts program, where she brings color, imagination, and inspiration to every canvas, both figuratively and literally. If you've ever admired a beautiful mural adorning our school walls, you can bet that it's a testament to her dedication and artistic prowess.
But Ms. Jennifer is not just an artist; she's also a mentor with a heart for youth and a passion for Human Services. She joined us through an internship program with Palm Beach State College, and from day one, her enthusiasm for helping young people shine has been truly remarkable.
Ms. Jennifer's mission is clear: to make a positive impact on the lives of our students. Through the Arts, she not only nurtures their creative talents but also fosters their personal growth and self-expression. Her commitment to their well-being is a shining example of the positive influence one person can have on a community.
We're incredibly grateful to have Ms. Jennifer as a part of our Afterschool family, and we're excited to see the lasting impact she'll make on our students and their futures.
Mr. Jeff is the creative genius behind our 3D printing curriculum and club, where imagination takes shape and innovation knows no bounds. With his guidance, our students explore the fascinating world of 3D printing, turning their ideas into tangible realities.
And that's not all! Mr. Jeff is also the mastermind behind our Pokémon Trading Card game curriculum. As they duel and strategize, students learn critical thinking, sportsmanship, and strategic planning—all while having a blast!
These programs aren't just fun and games (although they're definitely that, too!). They're all about STEAM-based learning, taking the skills our students acquire during the school day and applying them to real-world applications.

Meet Ms. Edcota, Our Wednesday Wonder!
Every Wednesday, our Afterschool program gets a burst of energy and creativity thanks to the amazing Ms. Edcota!
Ms. Edcota is our VPK (Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten) specialist, and she knows exactly how to make learning an adventure. She takes our little explorers outdoors, where they engage in exciting outdoor activities that spark their curiosity and creativity. From nature scavenger hunts to interactive science experiments, there's always something new to discover.
Learning through play is Ms. Edcota's superpower. She understands that the best way to cultivate young minds is by letting them explore and experiment in a fun and interactive way. Whether it's building castles, creating colorful art, or simply enjoying the fresh air, Ms. Edcota ensures that every moment is a valuable learning experience.
Our VPK students couldn't be luckier to have Ms. Edcota guiding them through these formative years. She's not just a teacher; she's a mentor, a playmate, and a source of inspiration.

Before her illustrious journey in Afterschool, Ms. G was a dedicated inner city teacher in the bustling streets of New York. She poured her passion, knowledge, and love into her students, leaving an indelible mark on countless young lives.
Ms. G's dedication to education didn't stop when she retired; it only grew stronger. She embarked on a new chapter in her life by joining our Afterschool program, where she continued to shape and inspire young minds. Her commitment to learning is nothing short of remarkable, and her unwavering support has been a guiding light for our students.
Ms. G's journey with Afterschool has taken her on an incredible adventure, following our Director, Ms. Megan, to three different programs. Through every change and challenge, she remained steadfast in her mission to make a positive impact on our community.
Now retired from her formal teaching career, Ms. G dedicates her time to making a profound impact in our community. Whether it's volunteering, mentoring, or lending a helping hand, she continues to be a beacon of kindness and compassion, showing that a teacher's influence never truly ends.
This is Ms. Kyla's first year working at Lantana Elementary! She grew up in Boynton Beach and is currently a student at Palm Beach State College studying Biology to eventually pursue environmental science. She enjoys playing soccer, reading, working out, and resting. She can’t wait to meet all of you this year!
Meet Ms. Megan, our dedicated Afterschool Director at Lantana Elementary. With a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing environment for your children, she joined our team in August 2020, bringing nearly a decade of experience in the afterschool field with the School District of Palm Beach County.
Ms. Megan's vision is to make the Lantana Elementary afterschool program a beacon of positivity for every family. She goes above and beyond, taking the time to connect families with essential services like childcare subsidies and financial assistance. Her passion for your child's growth extends beyond academics; she introduces exciting new experiences such as Stop-Motion Animation and collaboration with the Florida Fishing Academy.
We're thrilled to have you and your family as part of our community. Ms. Megan and our entire team are here to provide a warm, welcoming, and enriching environment for your child's development.
