In 2019, the Jupiter high students who participated in the Student ACES program decided that they wanted to share the knowledge gained from ACES to their fellow classmates. They wanted to create something that could bring the athletes of the school together as one and so with that, the first Student ACES Club at a high school was created.
Beginning with the 2023 school year, Jupiter High School will offer a Leadership Course for student athletes on campus. At the conclusion of the school year, the club underwent a name change to Warrior Athlete Mentoring (WAM) Club to better reflect its expanded focus.
Members participate in community service projects, leadership games, and high-level discussions. The club created a safe place for the leaders of the school to come together and better each other as an athlete and a person.
Club Recap: Adversity
Club recap #2!
Students led a discussion on time management before separating into groups to compete in a series of tasks. The goal was to manage your time effectively and complete all tasks before the other groups.
Thank you to the ACC Foundation and JHS Alum, Chloe Textor, for speaking with us on how to live and lead a legacy this October!
It was truly inspirational and we will use this to guide us with our 2nd quarter project.
