Welcome back!
We hope you had a wonderful summer and are very excited to have our students and staff back in our schools.
We are also happy to share the first issue of the Patch for the 25-26 school year and hope you like the updated format! It is accessible and mobile-device friendly so you can read it anywhere, anytime.
For those of you that are new to the Patch: it's the weekly newsletter from the Palisades School District that is delivered to all of our families, employees, and any subscribers from our website (over 6,800 inboxes!) every Friday during the school year. There's always a lot of great information, so please share it widely! New subscribers can sign up here.
This year's theme for the school district is: "Learning Happens When We Are Connected." We are truly looking forward to celebrating another school year with our amazing Palisades community.

Welcome Back to School! ESS is now hiring Substitute Teachers and Paraprofessionals for Palisades School District. See the most recent flyers on our website or in the image carousel at the bottom of the newsletter for additional details.
Thank you to PCF, the United Way of Bucks County, and the Esswein family for generously donating backpacks, school supplies and gift cards. Extras were delivered to the elementary schools if you still need them, so stop by the school office at DN, Springfield or Tinicum.

Our very own PHS Madrigal Singers sang the National Anthem for the Iron Pigs game on August 24th. You can see their beautiful performance here.

Sending a big shout-out to the Lions Club, who generously donated supplies to our students at Springfield Elementary School. Thank you to our wonderful community organizations that support us year after year. We appreciate you!
Information in this section will be particularly helpful for those who have students in our schools.
In early August, all families were emailed a comprehensive list of Helpful Hints that facilitate a great start to the new school year. You can find a copy of that message on the PSD website.
Every year, ALL of our families must review and update their child(ren)'s information in our PowerSchool Student Information System so that we have the most current information on file in the event that you need to be reached in an emergency. Video instructions on how to access and complete these forms are available here.
You must reapply every school year for each child. If you believe that your family may qualify, we urge you to apply. Complete information and applications can be found on our website.
Late buses will now be available three days a week after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at PALMS (4:45pm) and PHS (5:00pm). We hope this new service will help our families!
Interactive menus may be found online and provide you with all the nutritional & allergen information you will need to plan your child(ren)'s meals. You can also download the FD Meal Planner app on your smartphone for convenient access via Google Play or Apple Store.

In order to ensure that your concerns or issues are heard by the appropriate individual who can provide you with a speedy response, please start with the employee closest to the situation then progress through the levels outlined below in the contact list. FreshConnect Bucks County provides FREE, fresh produce to our residents facing hunger. They deliver in the PALMS parking lot on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month from 11:00am to 12:00pm. Registration is required.
