Let's Connect!
We hope you enjoyed the long holiday weekend. The light is changing, the temperatures are dropping — and pumpkin spice season and sweater weather are right around the corner. Autumn is on its way.
Lots happening in the PSD! Mark your calendars to come out and cheer on our Pirates at some of our games. Enjoy this week's Patch!

Meet Our Mascots!
We’re all Pirates, of course, but each of our elementary schools has its own lovable mascot, cheering on our students and bringing smiles to everyone’s faces.
Spike is our DN Bulldog! Spike encourages everyone to "Do Your Bulldog Best!" Bulldogs embody loyalty, strength, and determination — and they are great friends.
Spike loves soft pretzels, root beer and baseball. His favorite songs? "Centerfield" and "Who Let The Dogs Out!"
Pawblo is our Springfield Panther! He enjoys visiting students to ensure that they are being respectful, responsible, and kind.
He enjoys a juicy steak, french fries, and ice-cold lemonade. He's also a big fan of the Avenger movies!
Stripes is our Tinicum Tiger! Tigers are proud of Acting responsibly, Being respectful, and Choosing to be safe while learning. They strive each day to be kind people who make caring choices.
Stripes' favorite foods are breakfast cereal, grilled cheese sandwiches, and strawberry ice cream. He loves to swim — especially in the creek in the summertime. (The Gaga Ball Pit is super fun, too!)
PCF has, once again, graciously donated new books for our kindergarten kiddos. The books have been placed in shiny, purple gift totes and are ready to be distributed to our new kindergarten students on our elementary Back to School Nights.
Information in this section will be particularly helpful for those who have students in our schools.
Every year, ALL of our families must review and update their child(ren)'s information in our PowerSchool Student Information System so that we have the most current information on file in the event that you need to be reached in an emergency. Video instructions on how to access and complete these forms are available here.
You must reapply every school year for each child. If you believe that your family may qualify, we urge you to apply. Complete information and applications can be found on our website.
