A native of Danville, KY, Chris grew up in Louisville before returning to his hometown to graduate from Danville High School before attending college at Wittenberg University in Ohio. Upon graduating with a BA in Business Management he once again returned to Danville to resume working with Central Seal after having worked with companies seal coating and road striping crews in the summers throughout college. From 2000 to 2015 Chris worked his way up from a laborer to crew foreman, to operations manager and took over as company President in 2015 when the company transitioned from private to employee ownership. With projects and crews performing pavement marking & roadway signing contracts through various paving contractors and state Dept. of Highways in KY, TN, WV, VA, MO, SC and OH (so far), Chris is excited to be joined at this week’s event by several coworkers who are all ready to continue our top level service to Kentucky’s paving industry.
Chris and his wife, Crystal, have two sons (both of which have or currently work for CS) and two grandchildren. Chris is an active member of industry associations; American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA)- Past KY Chapter President, current member of national Pavement Marking Committee, KAHC – Safety Committee member. He is also a Board Member and Tennis Committee Chair for the Danville Country Club.
