Luray Middle School

National Honor Society

Congratulations New Members!

The NJHS was founded in 1929 with the hope of recognizing and encouraging academic achievement while also developing other characteristics essential to citizens in a democracy. These ideals of scholarship, character, service, citizenship, and leadership remain as relevant today as they were in 1929. Through this chapter’s service activities, members must maintain and extend the qualities that earned them the selection.

There will be an induction ceremony on Tuesday, November 28th, 2017 at 6:30 pm at which time new members will be recognized and welcomed as a new member of the Luray Middle School Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. Officially, they are not actual members until they are inducted, and MUST attend the ceremony to become an active member. This is an esteemed honor so please have your child dress in respectable clothing. There will be a brief reception in the commons area following the ceremony to celebrate.

All are welcome to attend both the ceremony and the reception.
