Mr Moore's News Update
Dear Parents and Carers,
In the penultimate week of this term, we have welcomed Year 1 and 2 parents in for our parental engagement sessions. They have proven a big hit and we will look to gain more feedback around how we can make them even more of a success in the future. The children have been extremely excited to show off their learning which makes our job so rewarding.
Following these parental engagement sessions, Year 1 have decided to 'take action' and are completing a sponsored run/walk in order to raise money for Guide Dogs UK. This decision to support others is a key part of our curriculum. Through our IB Curriculum, we encourage children to take action in order to improve the lives of others and are thrilled when they think of charitable initiatives such as this one.
We have also seen our Year 2 cohort head to the National Maritime Museum today to delve deeper into 500 years worth of Britain's encounters with the world at sea. We can't wait to hear their stories and hope that the trip inspires them to learn more.
Last but certainly not least, Mrs Chapman and Mrs Drury today took some of our amazing Young Carers to Paint'N'Go in Tunbridge Wells. The children enjoyed the opportunity to express themselves on such a large scale outside of the classroom (and get messy whilst doing so)!
Have a lovely weekend.
Yours sincerely,
Mr. Moore

Evelyn and her team won first prize at the Tunbridge Wells Dance Festival. Amazing achievement Evelyn, well done!
In his own time, George and his Grandad made this beautiful Bird House. George was so interested in his school learning that he decided he wanted to make one at home.
Well done George (and Grandad!), it is so lovely to see you want to continue your learning at home.

#WakeUpWednesday is a campaign by the National Online Safety organisation. It's designed to help parents and carers stay informed about the latest online trends and platforms that their children might be using.
Every Wednesday, a new guide or resource is released, offering simple tips and advice on how to keep children safe online. These guides cover a range of topics, from popular apps and games to general online safety issues like cyberbullying and privacy. The goal is to start a conversation between adults and children about staying safe in the digital world.
We will upload these guides/resources here every week.
