Financial Condition: Sonai's father is a hawker selling soap, chanachur etc to local shops, and used to earn 4500-5000 per month. The income has been heavily affected by Covid-19 lockdown, and once they did not earn anything for 3 months.
Her family includes the parents and her younger brother (in 8th standard). They live in a one room clay house with tin roofing. The house had a small kitchen, which got awfully damaged by Amphan and they have not been able to repair that. They do not own a phone with video calling capacity and hence he (and his brother) missed out on online classes ever since the offline classes stopped.
Ambition: She wants to be a teacher.
