• He scored 92.71% from The Institute for Academic Excellence(High School, IAE in short) at Narayangarh, Paschim Medinipur. Sangram scored 649 from a boarding school, and now he has been admitted to Manohorpur Raja Ramchandra Vidya Niketan in his village. His Physics, Life Science, and Maths scores are 96, 91, 95 respectively. 

• His School head master has informed that Sangram has faced a traumatic experience due to separation between his parents. That is the reason Sangram has to move in the boarding school in Std. VIII. According to his Head Master,  Sangram has done exceptionally well in the Madhyamik exam despite the mental challenge he faced. 

• His father has a very uncertain job carrying out electrical wiring from door to door. His father said that it is a very uncertain job. Depending on how many clients he gets each month in the rural area, the monthly income varies between Rs. 5000 to Rs. 6000. They have 1.5 bigha farm land which helps to make at least the required rice for the whole year.

• Sangram and his four family members live in a two-room one storeyed pakka house. The house was built by Sangram's grandfather. It remains unfinished since the death of his grandfather around six years ago.
