Description

The Kinnikinnick is a green shrub that has 1in leaves. The leaves are dark green. The shrub has small red berries. It is also called Vancouver Jade.

Geography: 

The shrub is native to North America, Europe, and Asia. 

Growing Conditions:

The shrub can grow in desert conditions in dry soil.. It is slow growing. 

Survival Traits

The shrub can grow in cold weather. It is also disease resistant. 

Wildlife: 

Butterflies and hummingbirds come to visit this plant.

Lifecycle and Reproduction: 

The shrub reproduces. The shrub repels deer in the summer and fall. 

Interesting Facts: 

It only needs pruning in early spring.
